Throw a Tea Party
If you can not find enough reason to throw a proper party and looking for daytime social ties, in addition to dinner, why not try a cup of tea? Obviously, you could simply invite your friends around and make tea, but if you want to go the extra mile, why not consider these tips:
Select date, depending on the season, it would be better to have a party at different times of the day, on Christmas Day, people can expect some light snacks, like talking, of course, will flow over the expected time. Tea usually occur between 10 am and 4 pm, otherwise you have people for breakfast or dinner!
Think about the size of the group you are inviting, if you want an intimate atmosphere, hold about 8, but greater than any you have to consider increasing the amount of food and perhaps a buffet. A large group of almost defeats the object of tea.
Depending on the time of year you should not have the party indoors, you can easily keep in the garden or on the terrace in summer, alternatively, in the park or on the beach, if you want to be unconventional, but just remember that you will find a way to heat tea.
Very nice meal with tea, but let’s not be distracted by organizing breakfast, try to stick to snacks. Breads and cakes compliment tea is good; cakes and desserts even better, but may cost more, and must be stored in a cool place.
Tea is obviously an important part of the party, but try to avoid brewing tea, one bank niche that not everyone can make a simple tea safe option, but you can always cook a pot of green, lemon or herbal tea as well. Tea is the best out of the kettle so make sure you have one of them and pretty cups and saucers to match. The bowl of sugar and a jug of milk, are important too.
